Aman Gohal Ph.D

Aman specializes in inquiry based methods that reveal the shadow side (hidden potential and competing agendas) of individuals and organizations to access greater choice, connection, authenticity and results. Her work integrates Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) with leadership development. She coaches a wide range of clients from non-profit Board members to VP and C-level Executives. She served as the Director of Executive Development and Coaching for Lyft Inc., spent 10 years at Booz Allen delivering leadership and coaching programs for Government clients and internally for Booz leaders. She also serves as a mentor coach and faculty in the Georgetown Coaching program. 

Aman lives in the San Francisco, Bay Area where she coaches clients around the world. She can often be found designing programs for coaches, admiring art, meditating or on a hike by the water with her dog Freedom Butterscotch.

Education and Training: 

She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development from Fielding University, a Masters in OD from American University and a BA in Women’s Studies and Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. She is an ICF credentialed coach at the PCC level. She is also certified in a number of leadership and organizational diagnostics to include: Hogan, The Leadership Circle 360, Grounded Leader 360, OPM 360, Change Style Indicator, Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0), MBTI Step I and II, Global Leadership Profile (Vertical Assessment), Power & Systems.
